Dear Doctor,
I wonder if anyone will ever see these letters. If they do, I wonder how they’ll feel. Will they feel the same loss I deal with, day in and day out, wishing with all my heart that you’ll find a way to come back to me?
I cannot count the number of tears I’ve shed over this. I hope that you know how many times I have wished those last moments back. Just to hear you say, “I love you.” Just so I can tell you “I love you” again and again until you can’t bear it anymore and would rip the universe apart just to see me again… Just to tell you the truth.I hope that somehow you’ll get these letters… I hope that somehow I’ll see you again. Whatever happens, Doctor, just know that I love you.
